Key LaBeaud

Key LaBeaud is a vocalist/songwriter/entertainer/ educator from New Orleans, LA. She is the bandleader of The Key Sound. Key’s mom has stated she could sing before she could talk and she has been singing publicly since preschool. Key LaBeaud sings and loves all kinds of music focusing on Jazz, R&B, and Soul with a New Orleans swing and touch of hip-hop. A proud mother of three boys, she plays classical violin and teaches private violin and voice lessons and general music at a New Orleans private school. Key is also a state certified English teacher and volunteers with a non-profit book club that provides book scholarships for young ladies entering college and graduate school. She is now also an officiant at the French Quarter Wedding Chapel. No matter the song or style, music has always, and will always be a part of her life and she uses it as a platform to drive her other interests.
