David and I have been planning our Halloween wedding for over two years. From the very first time I spoke with Lou Ann and Rev. Tony, they were nothing but warm and caring. They took the time to explain our wedding package options and discuss our needs for the big day. Once we were certain our travel plans would work out, Lou Ann made booking and paying the easiest process ever. Initially, we had chosen the FQWC because we were having a small wedding and Google said they were great at elopements. I wouldn't change my mind about choosing FQWC and Rev. Tony even if I had to do it all over again. The chapel itself is lovely in a quaint, cozy, and kitschy kind of way, with the assortment of hanging lanterns, and the furniture and all the dollars on the ceiling. It's aesthetic was perfect. Rev. Tony surprised us both by sitting us down and talking to us before the ceremony. He wanted to know about each of us and our love for each other - something we completely didn't expect. The respect for us and our relationship was evident, and the bit of counsel he offered to us both was appreciated. As it was Halloween, he dressed in costume, perfect for our wedding. The ceremony itself was also surprisingly intuitive as it felt like it was performed by a man who has known us both our whole lives rather than someone we just met 15 minutes prior. We have nothing but the highest praise for the French Quarter Wedding Chapel and how special they made our day. We would recommend them to anyone.
Rev Tony & Louann are the sweetest, most helpful people! They made our day so stress free and easy from the beginning & they made sure every detail was handled! We will always be so thankful for all of their help and attention to detail. The chapel is beautiful and full of New Orleans vibes and we're so glad to be part of such a neat and cultural little place! Thank y'all so much!
We just want to thank you again for providing such a beautiful & sweet ceremony for us on our special day, and for taking care of all of the details which relieved us of all potential stress and worry! Your kindness, graciousness, creativity, and sense of humor made for a wonderful evening, which we and our loved ones who were there with us will never forget. When my daughter and son-in-law told me they had booked the French Quarter wedding chapel I was skeptical because of things that I had seen about these wedding chapels and how cheesy it could be. I was totally and completely wrong. Reverend Tony did a better ceremony than most weddings I have been to in a regular church setting. Even though they had booked the short and sweet wedding Reverend Tony spent an extreme amount of time talking to them about how to love and cherish each other. Reverend Tony talked to them as a counselor not just someone who was being paid to marry them. I was dumbfounded at how nice sweet and genuine he was. I had expected a quick "I Now Pronounce You..". when he really did perform a wedding ceremony for them. He also did a counseling session with them. He also organized everyone for pictures. You can honestly tell that he cares about the people that he marries. I was in awe at how much he counseled them. These were young adults who needed the guidance that he gave to them. It was so much more than what I expected and I would definitely recommend the French Quarter wedding chapel to anyone that wanted to get married. It was a truly unique and wonderful way to start a life together.
