Appointments and arrival times

An appointment must be made to view chapel prior to ceremony time. Please give us at least a 2 hour notice.

Ceremony time arrival should not be more than 15 minutes early. Applies to all guests. Early arrival will be considered extra time.

If the ceremony time extends past allotted time more than 15 minutes an additional extra time fee will be charged.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We DO NOT sell marriage license. Contact us if you require any assistance or consultation.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

We accept all major credit cards, checks and money orders. You may also pay through Venmo.

If wanting to pay by cash total payment must be made day before ceremony or held with a credit card. A $100 deposit will be made to your credit card if paying remainder in cash day of ceremony.

A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required a time of booking on all services except the short, sweet and hitched where the total is due at time of booking. 

A 10% tax is added to all final costs.

You may be required to pay in full fees and charges on 3rd party venue rentals and/or other 3rd party subcontractors. Please inquire about venues outside of chapel venue.

Balances are due 3 weeks before scheduled wedding date whether paying with check or credit card.

Refunds on 50% of balance only may be requested no less than 2 weeks before ceremony date. If cancelled later the full amount becomes due.

All money paid, both deposits and balances is transferable up to 1 year from original ceremony date in the event of postponement.

You may be asked to sign agreements by 3rd party persons or French Quarter Wedding Chapel.

Please let us know if you have special payment requests.

CHILDREN – CHILDREN 1 YEAR OR OLDER – CHAPEL VENUE

Children count as guests

Each child must be supervised by one adult other than bride and groom. Please let us know if you need a sitter for your child. One can be provided at $25.00 per hour, in chapel during wedding only.

The chapel is furnished with antiques and the wedding couple will be held responsible for any damage caused either by a child or any invited guest. The charge to replace an item will be automatically charged to the couple’s credit card on file.

GENERAL INFORMATION

No rice or bird seed is allowed to be thrown in the French Quarter. City will limit penalties.

No live flower petals other than white are allowed to be used in the chapel by the flower girl.

Please inform us if service dogs will be involved at wedding venue.

You may provide your own officiant. They must be registered with the State for licensing purposes, we have application.

You may bring own CD music or on your phone.

You may bring own bridal bouquet and flowers.

We charge a small fee for professional photographers brought in the chapel venue by couple.

It will be up to the discretion of Reverend and violinist to bring outdoor weddings inside due to rain and extreme hot or cold weather.

We charge a corking fee and cake cutting fee when champagne or cake is brought to chapel venue by couple.

We charge for any finger foods brought into chapel venue by couples. 

We charge pouring fees when drinks are provided by couple for second line parades.

We charge a handling fee for beads if provided by couple for second line parades.

THE WAY WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order and handle the services you request.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online as defined by the Better Business Bureau.

ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES

The French Quarter Wedding Chapel agrees to arbitration of disputes by a professional 3rd party arbitration firm.  Any arbitration will be according to the laws governing Orleans Parish in Louisiana.  Any and all costs associated with arbitration will be borne by the consumer.
